All you need to go to Cuba

Passport:

- Make sure the expire date is longer than 6 months from the date you will return from Cuba.
- They will stamp two stamps, one when you enter and one when you leave, so make sure you have space for both of them.

Return ticket:

- You need to prove a date when you fly back to request the visa and also to complete all the details for the insurance.

Insurance:

- You must have one to cover any illness or surgery or accident while you are in Cuba. I bought this one. They also have packages to cover your luggage, flight, cancellation... check which one is the best option for you.

Address:

- You need to provide details about where you are gonna stay there. Doesn't matter if you are planing to travel along the island, you must have at least one address (hotel, airbnb, friend's house...)
- As you won't have data when you arrive there, I suggest you to write down your destination with all the details you can: name, number and which streets are near them.

Visa:

- We did it online, but now you need to request it in your closest embassy.
- The visa expires in one month as soon as you enter, but you could extend the date paying a fee once you are in Cuba.
- Usually takes a while, so do it with enough time or you will have to pay extra for the transaction.
